Subsequent extension 'in the oven,' rumors of switch to Ohio State 'half-baked'

Recommended Posts

Sources say that Coach Subsequent's extension with Michigan is "in the oven" and being worked on at the moment by University of Michigan Athletic Director RhyAn Wheatley following the team's 16-14 win over arch-rival Ohio State last weekend. Two weeks ago, the team qualified for a post-season bowl game for the first time in SimCFB history.

"We really think that Coach Subsequent is the right man for the job. We are looking into contract extension options that make sense," Wheatley said following the demolition-job over Northwestern in week 14.

Wheatley is clearly betting big on the coach and sources have claimed that Michigan President Kneadmore had been starting to lose patience with the pair after last year's crumby season stating that the two were close to "being toast."

The extension is welcome news for the Wolverine faithful who, honestly, had no fear of their coach being hired by Ohio State, with sources asserting that any such rumor is "half-baked" and "obviously spread by Coach Subsequent's camp to unnecessarily force himself into the news."

Regardless of the rumor, Michigan and its fans surely must be excited for the future as it's clear that the team is currently on the rise with the last few weeks as proof of the upward trajectory.
