2024 | Meet the Croots: Jamie Woods, PG, California

At the height of his senior year of high school, Jamie Woods is projected to be a top 100 ranked recruit in this year's SimCBB class. The point guard from the Bay Area has been working on his shooting mechanics throughout the summer and is poised to break out this year.

In terms of inspiration, he looks to his older brother, Simon Woods, a senior Center at Jacksonville University.

"We would play 1x1 against each other growing up. He always had the height advantage, so I had to get clever with making my shots. He was always good at defending the rim, I just wish I was half the defender that he is." Jamie Woods said in an interview with SimRivals last week.

 

Jamie Woods has Jacksonville University listed as one of his top schools that he will consider. Of the others, he is open to playing at Stanford, UCLA, Saint Mary's, and Santa Clara University.
