Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! Commissioner Migi here with some news and updates.

SimNBA All-Star Break is NEXT WEEK! After Monday's game 41 games, we will head into the All-Star Break! Now here's the fun part.

1st, if team owners would like to place a bid on hosting the All-Star Game, fill out this form below:

Team Name:
Why you should host the All-Star Game:
Burgers or Hotdogs (yes, this is relevant):

2nd, ALL-STAR VOTING IS NOW OPEN! I would like to thank @Ezacofor creating these forms to help with voting on who should be in the All-Star Game! The format will be East vs West. But, you get to vote who's a starter!
East: https://forms.gle/hDG4CJwJMWptsBx38

West: https://forms.gle/vpmDXNTaDYKaiRxr6

Starters voting will run until FRIDAY, DEC 15 @ 11:59 PST. Reserve voting will start soon afterwards. The Coaches with the BEST record in each conference by the All-Star break will be selected as the HC of the East and West respectively, and will be in charge of gameplanning.

Rising Stars Game

Yes, we will have a Rising Stars Game! For those who do not know, the Rising Stars Game is a Rookie/2nd year player showcase to display the Rising Stars (hence the name) of the league! The format will be USA vs World, and the Admin team will determine who qualifies for the game. The Coaches who have the 2nd best record in each conference will be the coaches of the game. Coin toss will determine who will coach Team USA and Team World.

Trade deadline

Coinciding with the All-Star Break is the Trade Deadline! GMs, you have until Sunday, DECEMBER 17, @ 11:59 PST to finalize your deals. Anymore trades that happen after the deadline will be invalidated. If you need help processing trades, let the admin know.

Thank you for reading the huge announcements and good luck! If you have questions feel free to ask.

Why you should host the All-Star Game: Vancouver has more letters than Vegas. Teal is a great color. Who does not like sea lions? Vancouver is also a more multicultural city compared to Vegas, safer, and better weather overall. You also get some great views of the ocean. Who actually hates the nature in the Pacific Northwest? Sure as hell beats the desert.
Burgers or Hotdogs (yes, this is relevant): Burgers (unless it's a brat)

Why should you host the All-Star Gane: Toronto has more letters than Vegas if you take away the Las part, which really, who's calling it The Vegas? But also, less letters than Vancouver, meaning we hit the right middle ground between too many, and too few letters. I would also point out that dinosaurs are way cooler than sea lions. We are the largest city in Canada with a diverse list of attractions and things to see, so what better way to celebrate Canada's role in basketball than to host the All-Star Star game in Toronto?

Burgers or hotdogs (yes this is relevant): Burgs

What's a better way to host the All Star game in a area that isn't the Great White North? How about in a city that the NBA has yet to expand back into. That's right, we're going to Seattle: home to the best fresh seafood in the country, the largest rainforest in the country, and also now has an arena that can host basketball games. That's right, Climate Pledge Arena! What to do when not watching basketball games or hockey games in Climate Pledge Arena? How about sailing along Lake Union or hiking in the Cascade Mountains or watching the god-forsaken UW Huskies playing nearby? There are so many things to do in Seattle that plenty of SimNBA players would love to travel here and experience a part of the Northwest that isn't quite as north as Canada.

So would you rather have 30 SimNBA teams get stuck in customs while traveling to Canada? Or would you rather have those 30 SimNBA teams not have to worry about international travel and get stuck in Seattle traffic?

Burgers or Hotdogs: Burgers
