In the middle of the offseason, lets take a look at how the Elite 11 Quarterbacks faired in 2023, along with looking at the future for the Class of 2023's Elite 11.

Class of 2021

QB Brandon Savage - Tennessee - 15 Starts, 449 of 704 for 6649 Yards, 52 TD, 14 INT, 163.51 QBR

What a tremendous season for the the 2021 Elite 11 MVP. Heisman Winner, CFP Semifinalist, Two Time National Offensive Player of the Week. As dominant as any quarterback we've ever seen.

QB Sheldon Yanda - Boise State - 13 starts, 170 of 326 for 1881 Yards, 14 TD, 5 INT, 111.72 QBR, 127 carries for 643 Yards, 5.06 YPC, 7 TD, 2 FUM

His first season starting and the true Sophomore was outstanding in his first action. We look forward to more to come from a young star.

QB Tavarres Washington - North Carolina - 13 starts, 278 of 471 for 3474 Yards, 23 TD, 14 INT, 131.15 QBR, 8 carries for 25 Yards, 3.13 YPC

After a tough freshman season, Washington blossomed in his Sophomore year. One of the top passers in the ACC, Washington enters his junior season hoping to build off a strong year and establish dominance.

QB Paul McCullers-Sanders - Tulane - 13 starts, 355 of 624 for 5042 Yards, 30 TD, 14 INT, 132.33 QBR

After a redshirt year, the RS Freshman started immediately for Tulane and was immediately one of the most exciting players in the nation in the high powered Tulane offense. PMS was All-ACC Third Team as well as the Offensive Newcomer of the Year.

QB Cooper Williams - Virginia - 11 starts, 184 of 353 for 2284 Yards, 11 TD, 5 INT, 113.93 QBR, 2 carries for 0 Yards, 0 YPC

Despite Virginia's mid-season coaching change, Williams shined in his redshirt freshman season. Now heading into a steady offseason, Williams should be even better his Sophomore year.

QB Melvin Velasquez - Bowling Green - 0 starts, 1 of 1 for 7 Yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, 158.80 QBR

Velasquez spent his redshirt freshman season as Travis Kingery's understudy, and as Kingery is a junior this year, it looks to be limited how much we'll see of the talented passer out of Florida.

QB Vic Hill - North Texas - 0 starts

Hill spent his true sophomore season as a third string QB, behind Blake Smith and Jose Garner. Now heading into his junior season, he'll be battling with fellow junior Peli Zeitler to start this upcoming season for the Mean Green.

QB Frank Webb - Texas State - 0 starts, 0 of 2 for 0 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, 0 QBR, 2 carries for 6 Yards, 3 YPC

The QB3 for the Bobcats in his true sophomore season, Webb enters his junior year behind fellow junior Devin Holtz as QB2 in 2024.

QB Brad Harrison - Oregon - 0 starts

Harrison spent the season as a reserve QB for the Ducks, behind Tyler Hatley and Terrell Roberts. Senior Terrell Roberts enters 2024 as the prospective starter with Harrison fighting for the starting job or top understudy opportunity as a true junior.

QB Jeff Jones - San Diego State - 0 starts, 8 of 15 for 137 Yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 152.05 QBR

The redshirt freshman Jones performed well as understudy to Randy Romero this past season for the Aztecs, and looks to be repeating the role as Romero's top understudy in 2024.

QB Kyle Ham - Stanford - 0 starts, 8 of 13 for 144 Yards, 0 TD, 0 INT, 154.58 QBR

In his redshirt freshman year, Ham was the top backup to Mike Shaffer and played well in limited opportunities. Shaffer returns in his redshirt senior year to be the prospective starter for the Cardinal, and Ham and senior Kevin Hill will be battling for the QB2 spot.

Class of 2022

QB Dick Richards - BYU - 0 starts, redshirt, 20 of 27 for 150 Yards, 1 TD, 2 INT, 118.15 QBR, 14 carries for 103 Yards, 7.36 YPC

The 2022 Elite 11 MVP took a redshirt year as BYU was led by Malachi Allen. With Allen graduating, Richards looks to be next season's starter, battling with senior Tyrell Romero for the starting position.

QB Edward Laakso - Purdue - 0 starts, redshirt

Laakso redshirted his first year at Purdue, and looks to be one of the battlers for the QB2 understudy role in 2024 behind senior Dominique Ankou.

QB David Scott - LSU - 0 starts

No redshirt year for Scott, who spent his true freshman season on the scout team for the Tigers. It's not been an ideal spot for Scott, who is behind 2 separate junior quarterbacks in the Tiger's depth chart.

QB David Ferguson - California - 0 starts, redshirt

A season on the bench for Ferguson to learn and develop. Senior Tanner Rodriguez is the likely starter for the Golden Bears, with Ferguson as the top deputy.

QB Colt McIntyre - Florida State - 0 starts, redshirt

Redshirt season for McIntyre. he'll likely battle senior Heath Callender for the QB2 spot behind junior Kelly Jarwin.

QB Kyung Hui - Navy - 13 starts, 222 of 421 for 2685 Yards, 23 TD, 12 INT,  118.63 QBR

A true freshman starter! Hui was outstanding for the Midshipmen, surplanting Benny Ramirez for the starting role. He looks to be the starter again his sophomore year, but will need to hold off a stiff challenge from junior Odell Nelson.

QB Curtis Simmons - Arkansas - 9 starts, 156 of 307 for 1779 Yards, 6 TD, 13 INT, 97.47 QBR, 73 carries for 291 Yards, 3.99 YPC, 0 TD, 1 FUM

Another true freshman starter! Simmons came in halfway through the season for the Razorbacks. It's a 3 way fight for the starting job in 2024, senior Chris Diaz and junior Chris James looking to see if they can beat out Simmons for the start.

QB Robert Khan - Virginia Tech - 0 starts

No redshirt year for Khan, but also no action. The young QB from Virginia will be fighting senior Demetrius Adams for the start in 2024.

QB Nathan Hartigan - Miami (FL) - 0 starts, redshirt

A prep star in Georgia, Hartigan redshirted for the Canes in 2023. Unfortunately for him, he will likely spend this year in reserves as he is far off the battle for the starting position.

QB Cesar Chacon - Tulsa - 0 starts, redshirt

Chacon redshirted in 2023, and with seniors Connor Larkin and Jonas Garland ahead of him, will likely not see any action until 2025.

QB Stephen London - ECU - 0 starts, redshirt

Another redshirt to round out the 2022 Elite 11 group. London will be in the fight to back up senior QB Jordan Matz in 2024.
