Tulsa, OK

With the 2023 Recruiting season coming to a close, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane have finalized 25 signees to join the squad this upcoming fall.  This marks the highest recruiting class (#4) that Coach acewulf has brought in to the 918 in his tenure.  With the excitement of such a touted class coming in, spirits are high for the future of the Tulsa squad.  Coach acewulf had this to say to media as signing day comes to a close: "What a day for Tulsa!  Our staff scoured the country for these guys and I can't wait for them to make it to the field.  We're really excited for the DB, WR, and DL groups in particular, but all of these young men are set to be amazing Hurricanes.  The future is bright for our guys."

Tulsa ranked near the top for Blue Chip players with 9, 6 of them were B overall.  This also marks the first 5 star signee in the acewulf era in DT Michael Harris.

How many players do you anticipate getting playing time as freshmen? Did you have to promise Harris a starting spot to get his signature? And how big an impact did NIL have?

If I'm being honest these guys all have a role to play, but I do think that those roles will generally take longer to see the field.  Harris is one candidate for some early playing time, but camp will decide his role for this upcoming season.

NIL is a huge deal for our program with QuikTrip being based right here in Tulsa and being a huge player in that space.  We definitely love us some QT here in the football offices!
