[2023] DT Cuevas heading to Denver

Late breaking news in Denver as the Broncos have acquired Giants star defensive tackle Michael Cuevas in exchange for Cincinnati's 2024 1st round pick and upstart special teamer Jose Pacheco. 

Cuevas looks to slot in next to veteran Daniel Garrison on a defensive front that's struggled early in the season to pressure the QB. Coach alexfall862 on the addition: "Well Michael is obviously a great player, and while he's a stalwart against the run, we think he's got just enough wiggle and bend in his bag of tricks to frustrate opposing QBs as well. Very excited for the addition."

The Cincinnati pick was part of Denver's draft day trade, exchanging WR Barry Madruga among other players in what many insiders called a cap relief move - that cap space looks to have been utilized within the same season with this deal, Cuevas has 2 years left on his original deal but sources say the Broncos may look to renegotiate his deal very soon.
