[2023] quick SEC preview

Recommended Posts

If there is one conference that could out-do the Big 12 it's the SEC. Home of the national champions and probably 4 other playoff contenders, all of these rosters are just stacked with talent.

Whew, there is so much talent here that it's hard to split. Coaching should play a huge role. At the top and holding my #1 national ranking is Alabama. They have some of the best players in the country and one of the only knocks is not having a good QB ready to go. In the west their challengers are Arkansas (23) who might hit double-digit wins, and LSU + TAMU who can challenge for 2nd in the division.

On the East, I have faith that @Ezacoputs together a gameplan and Oliveros showcases more maturity as I give them the 7th rank and the East division this year. Georgia with a stud DL and Will Outman is my 2nd place East team at 18 nationally, one spot ahead of 19 Tennessee. Without Heisman finalist Ynoa, and with 3 top-10 teams (FSU, Kentucky, Bama) on the schedule, I just think the Volunteers will pick up a couple of losses. Missouri maintains their 3 spot in the division with Florida and SCAR trying to get a program-changing win. Vanderbilt also sucks in general
