Large Dozen:

Cold takes:

I predict another blood bath. These teams are just so close and have so much talent.

The championship will have at least one team with 3 losses if not two.

Baylor does not pull a threepeat

Hot Takes:

We will have someone from the middle or lower tiers of talent get pulled up to make a run for the title mainly on the strength of coaching. Houston or Kansas would be my bet here.

Only one team from the BIG 12 gets in because of the carnage that will ensue

Whoever does get out will win two playoff games

Two of the top five Heisman candidates will come from the big 12

Predictions:

TCU, Oklahoma, and OSU will via for the top spots

Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Houston take up the middle

Texas BYU float somewhere here

WVU gets pulled up from good coaching but doesn't have the top-end talent

Cinci Tech ISU and UCF are probably at the bottom but have some surprising games

SEC:

Ezaco figures out how to let his good players be… good. Kentucky wins the East, Georgia edges out Tennessee for 2nd but both pick up >= 3 losses

in the west Alabama drops 2 games but still makes the CCG

Big 12:

Houston storms in and wins the conference in their first year is my spicy take. TCU rides Solano to 2nd place with a revenge win against Baylor after last season to make the CCG

PAC:

UCLA wins the south behind a monster year from Maronde. If USC gets a coach, Longacre plays like a top-5 QB and leads them within 10 points of beating UCLA and winning the division themselves

ACC:

Florida State has some absolute dominant games and wins the conference, but drops 2 head scratchers including against GT who puts together a great season

other conferences:

not relevant

12 out of 14 big 12 teams are going either 2-1 or 3-0 OOC? Very bullish on the large dozen I see
