BIG EAST Player of the Week

Welcome to another Player of the Week! St John's Red Storm Guard Dennis Mitchell has been named the Big East Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Week 14, following his outstanding performances in two dominant victories over the past week. Mitchell was instrumental in leading the Red Storm to back-to-back wins over Marquette and UConn, averaging 19.0 points, 2.0 blocks, and 2.0 steals per game. The 6-foot-5 guard has been one of the most consistent players for the Red Storm this season, averaging 15.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 55/48/93 for his splits. Congratulations to Mitchell, as we look forward to his stellar play in March.
