Lovejoy High School, Lucas, Texas

Located about 30 miles outside of Dallas, the town of Lucas Texas is home to one of the top defensive players not only in the state of Texas, but in the country.

His high school coach said that Andre has been a delight to coach for the past three seasons. He is a good team mate and willing to do whatever was needed to help the team.

Very athletic and quick off the ball with good play speed. Shows motor and does not give up on plays. Athletic enough to where if he gets cut, can regain his feet and still hunt down the ball carrier. Aggressive and plays fast, but the times where he needs to stay home and be disciplined, he does it. Pursues hard and has the foot speed to track down plays to the flanks. The speed and agility led to 15 tackles for a loss and 9 sacks his senior season. Most teams chose to run to the opposite side of the field and he would still be double teamed by the opposing offense.

Ran a 4.62 40 as a Junior and carried that speed over to the track team where he ran the third leg of the 4x100 relay for the Lovejoy HS track team.

With the HS football season having ended he is now focusing on track and also on recruiting.

When asked Andre said deciding where to spend the next four years is a tough decision. I have heard from most all of the top schools and will take my time making the choice Playing close to home would be nice since my family would easily be able to come to home games. But I am also not opposed to going where I feel the best fit might be, wherever that might take me.
