[2022] Broncos announce immediate changes

Denver, CO - While the team was still in Pasadena, the Broncos front office called a short press gaggle to make an announcement.

 

Owner @alexfall862 stated that he was proud of the job the team and coach @alexfall862 had done this season and he will be retained for next season, however special teams coach @alexfall862 has been terminated effective immediately and is no longer part of the organization. Additionally, the team announced they're delaying the construction of the capital project first reported by @kwheele though they noted that the timing is solely coincidental and there's nothing to be read into in regards to the status of any other members of the organization.

 

Sources have confirmed that the team boarded the plane with 1 fewer coaches than they arrived with earlier this week. Special teams coach @alexfall862 was seen standing by himself on the tarmac texting, presumably for an Uber, as the plane took off just minutes ago.

Question: Given the ST was able to block a FG and cause another miss by WAS, what was the rationale behind the firing?

Well, other than the general inability to cover kick and punt returns, we felt his insistence on "trust me bro, punting in the KOTEX RedZone is exactly what they'd least expect. We'll have 'em by the balls!" was generally unwise advice and we just wanted to exorcise that demon before next season.
