University of San Diego files complaint to the SimCBB

The University of San Diego has filed a complaint to the SimCBB in regard to missing an invitation to the league. With the addition of the West Coast Conference this season, the athletic program was mistaken for another program that also resides in San Diego, the University of California - San Diego. Torrero fans in San Diego were frustrated with the miscommunication and were concerned that their team would be missing the opportunity to participate in the league.

 

Fortunately for the program, the Toreros will be joining the West Coast Conference in 2023.

 

The Big West Conference is expected to be approved for joining the SimCBB league in 2023, which will mean that the UC Irving and UC San Diego programs will be moving from the West Coast Conference to their home conference - the Big West.
