Even though Tigard Football had a down year in 2022, 5 Star WR Ben Iannuzzi (Jr) was able to have a major impact on the success of the Tiger's season and looks forward to having an even greater impact in 2023.

“Growing up in the suburbs of Portland, you get to see a lot of great football with three Pac-12 schools within a few hours' drive,”, said Iannuzzi. “Huskies, Ducks, Beavers, and even the Cougs are close. You get to see all the best of the west coast and see how you get to stack up.”

“I have attended summer camps the last two years with several of the PAC-12 schools and learned a lot about how to better myself. I am looking forward to the Elite Wide Receiver Football Camp and a chance to work the Elite 11 Camps as well. Will be fun running routes and catching some footballs from the best quarterbacks in 2023.”

“Who was my favorite player growing up? Well, Dad was really into Steve Largent. I always liked Thielen and Kupp. They are more my style of play. Never been a deep threat but let me work in space and get some yards after the catch - that is what I live for.”

“As for the recruiting, it is starting to pick up now. I look forward to seeing who it is that reaches out to me. Being a West Coast kid, the Rose Bowl game and the B1G/Pac-12 rivalry has always been something I have loved to watch. But I am really leaning on going to the school that has a top-notch biomedical engineering program. Really don’t care where that is.”

“As for making my decision, I would like to get that locked up before the end of my senior season. Would rather know where I am going and really get to know the coaches and what they expect from me before I step on campus.”
