Nashville, TN

"It's been an eventful weekend." said Jebow. "Time for the finale, the 7-on-7 competition. All week we've worked on these quarterbacks' arms, legs, and brains. Its time to see how they can put it all together in a live situation. After Day 2, our current rankings are below."

Event #5 - 7-on-7

"The way we've got this set up may be a bit convoluted, but we had to do it this way to get everyone even reps against all the talented defensive back's we've got at this camp. We split the entire camp into five teams, led by members of our coaching staff. Each team gets four quarterbacks competing for Elite 11 positions. All quarterbacks get 2 drives each, and after their drives the quarterbacks are rotated to a different team. If anything, this is the most subjective challenge. We're judging these guys on how many "good" drives they have, out of a possible 10. If the decision making is correct and the pass is on the money, they get a good score. If they screw up, throw a pick, just make a bone headed decision, it’s a bad score. Now let’s see how our coaches placed these players."

7-on-7 Good Drives Count (out of 10):

Curtis Simmons - 8

David Scott - 7

Colt McIntyre - 7

Kyung Hui - 7

Dick Richards - 6

Edward Laakso - 6

David Ferguson - 6

Robert Khan - 6

Nathan Hartigan - 6

Cesar Chacon - 6

Stephen London - 6

Christopher Cannon - 6

Joseph Wise - 5

Juan Lopez - 5

Jim Kantor - 5

Samuel Ortiz - 5

Fred Oldakowski - 4

Max Benson - 4

Felipe Velazco - 4

Robert Lemberger - 4

An incredible effort for Curtis Simmons. Before today, the Arkansas commit looked like he was going to miss out, but that kid is just a gamer. Elite 11 MVP hopefuls Dick Richards, Edward Laakso, and David Ferguson all lined up with 6 good runs each. It came down to the wire and a lot of discussion between the coaches, but we've made the final list.

"Before we announce the final rankings, just wanted to say thank you for everyone who helped put the Elite 11 event together. First off, @SageBow for his generous donations to the facility to allow us to fund this all important camp for quarterback development. Then @Rocketcan , helping our scouting department put together the plan for the regionals and the invitations. Finally @TuscanSota for all of his assistance with setting up the drills. Now without further adieu, here is YOUR 2022 ELITE 11!!"
