2022 Carolina Panthers hire new GM from Falcons staff

The Carolina Panthers are no strangers to aggressive acquisitions given their history in trades where they mortgaged their present for the future in groundbreaking trades with the Colts, Broncos, and Commanders. The Panthers are trusting their new GM, who was offered an undisclosed contract for their new role in addition to keeping their role from their rival. In addition to General Manager duties, [uSER=49]@J'aimebo[/uSER] will be responsible for Scouting Director duties as well as Director of College Operations, Education, and Developmental Studies.

 

He's charged with ensuring the Panthers spend their seven first round picks over the next two drafts to build around rookie QB Dekota Link. There's an understanding from ownership that the turnaround will take time, but Carolina will have eyes towards the future as they look to fill out their roster with youth.

 

Bread man will likely be in shambles from Carolina's new GM leaving, as the Falcons will likely loaf about in the NFC South. J'aimebo is the best thing since sliced bread and he'll bring energy to make NFC South competitors toast. Nothing will butter the bread better than the tag team of Owner and Coach Sarge and Jambo. Optimism is high in the Carolinas but results will need to be proven.
