2022 Preseason All Big East Teams Announced

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK - All members of the new look Big East conference have finalized their official Men's Basketball rosters for the upcoming 2022 SimBBA collegiate season. Although some may argue the fielding of the preseason teams as premature, the league has gathered enough intel to determine the preseason players. This Power Six conference looks to be very competitive as it was not an easy decision to vote on the players that would be awarded with these lofty expectations. To add more complexity to the process, coaches were asked to provide unbiased votes meaning they could not favor their own players when voting for these teams. The conference will now release the Preseason All-Big East First and Second Teams, Honorable Mention, Preseason Player of the Year, and Preseason Freshman of the Year.

 

Preseason All-BIG EAST First Team

Preseason All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention

F Todd Moore, Jr., 6'7, Xavier

F Christopher Whitehead, Sr., 6'8, St. John's

 

BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year

Xavier, Villanova, Providence and St. John's look to head the conference with a good amount of talented upperclassmen. Make no mistake with teams lacking selections, this conference will not be an easy bid for any team with teams such as Georgetown and DePaul contending with depth in place of outright star power. We expect the Big East to be very competitive and hopefully, multiple teams within the conference to be dancing into March Madness. Thank you all for coming along and let the season begin!
