The rumors continue to fly around regarding Coach123 and Army. While he has a solid 6-3 record at Notre Dame there has been some controversy surrounding recruiting. According to multiple sources "Local police in South Bend recently cleared out a back room where big money donors from Notre Dame were conspiring on how much money they were to donate to a five star recruit." While the Notre Dame athletic department adamantly denies any wrong doing, many speculate Coach123 played a big role in this scandal. Some ESPN analysts even suspect that he may be forced to resign at the end of the season. Irregardless, Army has seized upon a opportunity to possibly sign a promising coach to a long term extension. Some inside sources have reported that the contract would last 8 years and would be worth upwards of 16,000,000. If these sources are indeed correct, Army truly believes that Coach123 can steer their program in the right direction. Due to poor coaching Army is currently 3-6, and has an extremely below average roster. Despite a raging scandal with Notre Dame, Army has made a bold move approaching Coach123 for a possible interview. Many still wonder if Coach123 is the man for the job and if Army is risking it's name and prestige signing him.
