Coach's Statement

"Last week the wheels just started to turn way too late into the ball game. Defensively we played well with very little success on the offensive side of the ball, both sides of the ball just need to get on the same page. On a more positive note, I want to bring attention to Jake Duda's performance last week with 144 yards total yards on offense and a touchdown. We just need see more production from our guys on that side of the ball. Focusing on this week we just have to build up what was working for us against Duke, and fix the issues still at hand. Especially defending the pass game, we're putting pressure on the quarterback and that needs to continue. With a Notre Dame offense that's heavily focused on the pass game we know what we need to focus on a bit more. I'm confident we'll give the fighting irish a competitive ball game this week in South Bend, and hopefully come up with our first win. "
