This Saturday Kansas State and TCU face off in Manhattan, Kansas. The match is expected to be highly competitive considering the Wildcats are 5-0, meanwhile TCU goes on the road at 3-1.

TCU's Andrew Solano is currently the top QB in the Big 12 with 1,577 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and 1 interception. His top receiver, Oren Colon has over 700 yards in receiving along with 7 receiving touchdowns. TCU remains to be the top passing offense in the Big 12, while having at #5 in total defense in the conference, but #7 in passing yards allowed.

Meanwhile, Kansas State is #1 in total offensive yards in the Big 12 and #3 in Passing Yards in the conference. Brendan Smith has been promising on his Preseason Big 12 selection as the top QB in the Big 12 and remains so. The passing game remains strong with over 1,300 yards in the air, but as far as TDs to Interceptions, Smith is at 10 TDs to 7 interceptions.

Both teams are tied in regards to turnovers. Overall, this appears to be a promising match up that could become a shootout. One thing's certain, these two teams are talented, and will be playing in what could be an early view of the Big 12 Championship.

I am starting to know more and more this roster, they are a great group that knows where to focus in order to achieve a goal. For me the goal is to give the best we can each game, playing in a way we can be proud of ourselves looking back.

This game will be a tough one but we know what to do to defeat this team and that is the focus this week in each of our trainings. Hope for the best to the Kansas State program and their coach.

Giambro.-
