Broncos Announce New Arrivals

Today Denver announced today an agreement in principle for arrival of several new members of their Bronco family.

With so many moving pieces it's hard to keep track of everything, but clearly the ownership felt it was time to make a move, and reached out around the league to see if there was interest in some assets - they liked what they saw from Carolina.

The GM of the Broncos, alexfall862 made several statements earlier today:

"OG David McNeal joins us from Carolina and will help lead our offensive line in clear the way for our stable of great backs. OG Mark Stern comes to the team after playing for the Panthers. With several starts under his belt, I'm sure we have a lot to look forward to! OT Craig Parrish arrived today after working in Charlotte for the last couple of years and we know he's going to do a great job protecting the QB.

Big-play WR Rondald Spencer arrives to the team after playing ball in the NFC South, and will see playing time immediately and help open up the field for Peter London.

DE Chad Bruce will likely play a different role on the line than he did playing for his previous team in the Bank of America stadium, but he's certainly going to be a difference maker. SS Vicente Bugarin is nearing the end of his career, but after moving through a couple of teams, he'll likely play more snaps for us than he did for teams on the south eastern coast. CB William Owens is the final addition to our team and we love the pairing with Bugarin and think it will really round out our secondary.

Ah yes, also we wish a fond farewell to our 2023 and 2024 first round picks. I'm sure you will be great players, but not here."

The GM of the Broncos declined to comment further*, but this roster shakeup happens just hours after a late night tweetstorm from the new Broncos leadership.

Shortly after this tweet, we heard from several stunned GMs round the league that a trade had just been submitted to the league office involving the now departed 5th overall pick and rookie QB Dekoda Link.

The GM even took the chance to get into it with fans online, a move not unusual for the fiery executive.

It's yet to be seen how this trade will affect the race for the playoffs, we're only 2 weeks in, but has a new favorite emerged to give Jacksonville a run for it's money? Will the Jaguars respond by also trading their rookie QB?

We're looking forward to next week's debut of a new Bronco's lineup, but time will tell if the group will be able to mesh before the playoffs. It's not typical for teams to add so many players in key positions in the middle of the season, and tinkering with gameplans with 'live rounds' instead of in the preseason may end up costing the Broncos important wins while they figure out how to put the pieces together.

*EDITORS NOTE: After the initial publishing of this article, the GM of the Broncos did respond to our inquiry with a written statement saying only "A team is only as good as it's weakest Link."
