This week on Inside the Irish we are going to take a look at the most important man on the field, the quarterback. Let's meet the man himself, Izaah Plawecki. Standing 6'3 and weighing 202, the Sophomore from Kentucky is ready so make his first start for the blue and gold. "Its something you always dream about as a kid, to make your first college start," said Plawecki in the interview. While he may not have the strongest arm or be the most accurate quarterback what sets this man apart from the rest is his decision making. Over the course of two spring games in which the Irish went 1-1, the poised sophomore completed 59% of his passes and threw for 641 yards. With only 1 interception for his 5 touchdowns. This solidified him as the starter moving forward, now we will open up the floor to any questions for Izaah.

Q : Izaah, what did it mean to you when you won the starting job ?

A : Well, it means everything, this is something you always dream about you want to be that guy the team can rely on.

Q : What do you say to the critics who believe that you don't deserve this position ?

A : I never like to address the haters, so I am hoping my play on the field silences them.

Q : Expectations are high for this team, can you lead them to a playoff berth ?

A : I've always had confidence in myself and I believe this team can rise to any challenge presents itself.

Q : With rumors flying around about Dick Richard's recruitment are you worried about keeping this job ?

A : I've discussed this with Coach123, he says he has a lot of faith in me to maintain this role for another two years.

Q : One last question for you Izaah, can you get past this Navy team this weekend and get that first win of your career ?

A: We will just have to wait and see, go Irish. (leaves the room)
