Titans Coaches address Robert Miller issue

Titans Head Coach Kwheele release a team statement on DT Robert Miller.

 

"As everyone knows, DT Robert Miller was not available to play last week due to a personal issue. Robert came up to the coaching staff early Wednesday and asked for a quick time off to address a pressing family issue and we allowed Robert to spend that time dealing with his family's concerns."

 

Robert has said that everything is well and he appreciated that ownership and coaches of the Titans in understanding what was going on and for maintaining his trust about this issue. When asked by local reporters, Robert Miller had this to say:

 

"My family and I are very grateful for the ownership and coaching staff of the Tennessee Titans and their willingness to support the Miller Family. All is well and I will be back and making my presence know throughout the NFL."

 

When asked about the specifics of his absence, Miller replied with "It was a family matter."
