2022 Denver Broncos Camp Casualties

With preseason wrapping up and the regular season next week, roster limits will lead to dozens of players per team receiving their walking papers, or getting sent down to practice squad.

 

The Broncos got ahead of Bloody Wednesday with their roster cut downs and preempted the news cycle with some Tuesday news.

 

Among the posted cuts, several surprises on the defensive side of the ball. Long-time veterans DT Robert King, DE David Bracy, and CB Roberto Cabrera won't be part of the team anymore, and three draft selections didn't make the active roster in CBs Danilo Shakir and Rob Guthrie.

 

 

"I've poured my heart and soul out to this team, and while sad, I look forward to dominating retirement the same way I dominated on the field." posted the long-time defensive campaign Robert King on his twitter.
