2022 NFL Rookies Ratings Reveal Snap Counts

Rocketcan

Recommended Posts

Hey Coaches,

Really quick: This season all rookies have hidden attributes beyond their letter grade for overall and the pre-draft stuff like combine grades. As we go throughout the season, those ratings will be revealed based on the following criteria:

  • Non-specialist players (all but K and P): 250 total snaps played in games.
  • Specialist players (K and P): 90 total snaps played in games.

These snaps include regular and pre-season snaps. The "source of truth" for these will be considered the official stat documents that the admins are keeping (and publishing) this season. Players that reach these thresholds will be updated anytime after the Monday Night Football game has posted and before gameplan, depth chart and roster data are pulled for games the following week.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

EDIT: To be clear, any player whose ratings have not been revealed by the end of the season (AFTER the Super Bowl), will have their ratings revealed.

I'm having all of my rookies play both ways and make sure that my preseason games go into overtime, after running no-huddle all game to make sure we get to 250 before the season starts. We're also only throwing, figuring that the incomplete passes will give us more plays than running the ball and that pesky clock continuing to tick.
