In Florida this season emerges perhaps one of the most prestigious linemen talents of our generation.

John Nunez, a lineman for the Choctawhatchee Indians football team has emerged as one of the top prospects in the country. Having started for the program as a freshman, Nunez has played at almost every guard position save for center. And despite many of the changes that the team has endured since his high school career, Nunez remains a staple foundation for their offense. Now going into his senior year, he is expected to start at Left Tackle for the team.

When asked about his talent, coach Dominguez had this to say about John Nunez:

"After every game, this kid is watching his own film. He's watching the snaps, and taking notes on which blocks he made, and where he failed. He asks for feedback; and pays attention to what our staff says. His knowledge on the game is about what you'd expect form a prospective college talent, but between you and me, he puts a huge amount of effort in the gym and on the field. I'm honored to be coaching him, and seriously think he has huge potential to start anywhere."

When interviewed, Nunez remained fairly reserved, but did have a few words on where he would like to sign:

"My family loves the Seminoles; and you know, they had a really good line last season. Texas State had a really good squad and look at how that line did with Ryan Johnson. Tulsa and California got it good. To be frank, I could go anywhere, and I know my family loves the 'Noles, I want a coach who's not afraid to tell me how I'm playing and knows where the closest IHOP is; because I'm making pancakes on the field."

The Florida State program has yet to reach out to Nunez, and despite his family's love for the team, Nunez remains open to hearing from several college programs this season.

Dang, FSU already a step ahead on Nunez. This is going to be a nationwide battle, though. I imagine Nunez will take all the time he needs to make a decision.
