In Dev Diary #49, @Piercewise1 mentioned that for this first league year, all NFL teams will be able to select ONE player that is in the "Young" category whose contract will be extended by 1 year. That extra year's total money will be 10% more money than the previous year's (all of which will be added to the base salary of the player). The the deadline for this extension selection is the first day of Free Agency (March 28th, 2022).

 

If you would like to use this for one of your players, please reply to this thread using the following format:

 

TEAM NAME

PlayerID Position First Name Last Name

 

Example:

 

 

Dallas Cowboys

 

60502 WR Christopher Lee

 

 

Teams do NOT have to make a selection, but this will NOT be offered any other year, so I recommend you take advantage of it.
