Purdue Year in Review: Wide Receivers

The season is now over and we take a look back at how the wide receiver room was for Purdue this past year.

Coach MasonAsher on the Purdue wide receiver room: We had some pretty good play from our wideouts last year. Obviously, they were just asked to compliment the tight ends in our systems but I thought that they made really good plays when they needed to. It was an experienced room and I think that showed. I thought that we could have been a little bit better in front of the sticks but they made plays when they needed to. I thought that any of these guys could have stepped in on any given day and made plays. We lose over 100 catches and 1,300 yards for this next year but there are guys who are ready to step in. I loved coaching these guys as they worked extremely hard each day.
