2021 Purdue Year in Review: Quarterback

The season is now over and we take a look back at how the quarterback room was for Purdue this past year.

 

Coach MasonAsher on the Purdue quarterback room: I was really pleased with how our guys played this year. I thought they each came to practice every day and got their stuff done. Each of them improved in aspects throughout the year and that is all you can ask for. Chubb did a great job leading our team this year and it is a big honor for him to be named 2nd team All-Big Ten. I am excited to see how he is going to do in the NFL. We redshirted a couple guys last year and they improved their games. We will be old in the quarterback room next year which is always a good thing. Coming into the year we kind of knew we were going to put Reyes out there. This coming year will be a bit more of a spring and fall competition between all of our quarterbacks for that top spot. We have a few really solid options to run our offense next year.
