Coach Weeze Fired following a 5-7 season.

Rumors were spreading like wildfire in Fayetteville last week after the Athetotic Director for the University of Arkansas met with the Razorback's headcoach. Rumors had it that the Coach and University were going to part ways after only one season following the very disappointing 5-7 season. Expectations were high this season with the Razorbacks expected by some media to contend for the SEC West. Clearly that wasn't the case. To make matters worse, Arkansas struggled on the recruiting trail at multiple points that led to other schools snaking away recruits. According to inside sources, the mishandling of the seasons recruiting is what was final straw despite several top level recruits committing to Arkansas.

After the season officially ended and recruiting coming to a close, Arkansas has officially announced the releasing of Headcoach Weeze. Coach Weeze seems to have known what was coming however as he has been seen several times in Gainesville since the season ended. With the Gators also in need of new direction, sources seem to think despite his struggles this season, Coach Weeze might fall upward as the new coach of the Florida Gators.
