Texas State FB Ryan Johnson stepped up after lagging behind several other Heisman hopefuls when it comes to dominating performances. The star of the Texas State offense dominated the second half of their matchup against Arkansas State with 20 touches, and 2 touchdowns to complete a dominating back half of the game that dug them out of a 24-0 halftime hole.

 

 

Johnson finished the game with 280 rushing yards and over 375 all purpose yards returning kicks and catching several passes. Texas State improves to 8-1 on the season as Arkansas returns to .500 on the season.
