The past few weeks have been a blur for the Golden Hurricane. 3 games - 3 wins for this upstart program finding their footing as the young season soldiers on. First of these 3 wins comes at home against an upstart Memphis team that found plenty of early success running the ball for a good 150 yards on the ground. Coleman and Dawson led the way for the Tulsa offense putting up an efficient 303 yards on 31 attempts through the air and over 100 yards from scrimmage with 3 TDs for Dawson. Defense held it's own against this hot Memphis running back with 3.5 TFLs from Alonzo Coleman up the middle.

Second on the list of games these past few weeks was the SMU game. Props to the SMU team for providing a thorough display of offense with the SMU QB putting up over 380 yards through the air. The Tulsa defense held strong in the red zone and only allowed 1 offensive touchdown and forced the SMU offense to attempt 4 field goal attempts, only converting 1. Star of the game goes to Kicker Evan Coleman going 4/5 on the night with a long of 48. Bruce Dawson had the lone TD for Tulsa and was the teams leading receiver on the game.

After a rough offensive week against SMU, Tulsa came out guns blazing and put up a season high 42 points on the board. Bud Coleman was 22/29 for 277 yards and 5 TDs against 0 INTs earning him Player of the Game honors. Bruce Dawson also had quite the game with a 300 yard performance from scrimmage and scored 3 TDs of his own.

With these games, Tulsa moves to 6-0 on the season and is bowl eligible.
