2021 Inaugural SimNBA Draft Rules

Hey everyone! Commish here! The Admin team and I have developed a set of rules to help make sure the inaugural SimNBA Draft goes smoothly!

 

REMINDER THAT THE DRAFT WILL BE SATURDAY, JULY 24 @ 7PM EST!

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO DRAFT, PLEASE LET ME OR @Wahoo KNOW WITH YOUR DRAFT BOARD/PREFERENCES.

 

Timers/Selections

• Round 1: Teams allotted 5 minutes to draft
  
• Round 2: Teams allotted 2 minutes to draft
  
• Selections must be made in this time frame or risk skipping
  
  • IF YOU ARE UNAVAILABLE DM MIGI OR WAHOO A LIST OF PLAYERS YOU WANT SELECTED, AND WE WILL SELECT BPA.
    

Trades

• Standard trade rules apply. Post in trade forum
  
  • If you are trading while on the clock, PLEASE LET ME OR @Wahoo KNOW. COMMUNICATION IS KEY!
    
  • You may trade drafted players
    
    • You may select a player for the team you are trading with if time is running low on the clock.
      

 

MOST IMPORTANTLY, HAVE FUN!

To help with time pressure, if you have made a trade, both teams can verbally confirm the trade to us during the draft, make the pick, and then make the official trade post after they are off the clock.
