Week 2 Postgame: #16 Tulsa: 32 - San Diego State: 26

Another week, another incredible performance for Tulsa running back Bruce Dawson who put up over 250 yards from scrimmage and 2 touchdowns in the 32-26 win over the San Diego State Aztecs. Dawson dazzled from the very start of the game taking a screen pass from Tulsa Quarterback Bud Coleman 70 yards to the house on the first offensive play for the Golden Hurricane. Dawson would continue to put the Hurricane offense on his back against the Aztecs totaling over 150 yards rushing and nearly 125 receiving on the night.

Defensively, the star of the show was inside linebacker Alonzo Coleman with his monstrous 4 TFLs and forced fumble to go along with his 10 tackles on the game. As a unit, the Golden Hurricane defense totaled 8 TFLs and 2 sacks combined from this formidable front 7. Tre Robertson backed up Coleman with 2.5 TFL own and Steven Jenkins led the pass rush with 1.5 sacks on the day.

Tulsa travel to Army this Saturday for the first road game of the season for the Hurricane.
