Both the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the San Diego State Aztecs were ready for battle Saturday evening. As the sun set over a dusty H. A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, a beauty of a game was born. Throughout the game, one name was utter above all others, however: Bruce Dawson. The Tulsa RB combined for nearly 300 yards from scrimmage, including 162 rushing yards on 29 carries (1 TD), and 124 receiving yards on 8 catches (1 TD).
