History was made under the Friday night lights as UAB quarterback Brett Mitre put his entire roster on his shoulders and ran home for a 33-yard rushing touchdown, to complete the fourth quarter comeback and to win the game on the whistle. Not only was this an impressive fourth quarter comeback in a game where South Alabama had also led at the half time interval, but it was the first walk off touchdown win of the inaugural college football season. Take a bow Mr. Mitre, you have etched your name in sim folklore, and your team couldn't have done it without your 307 total combined yards through the air and with your feet... but none were more important than those final 33 yards.
