Pac 12 Pre-Season Poll

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the first Pac 12 Rankings poll! The poll was conducted internally amongst all Pac 12 members via survey. Out of the four responses, here are the results of the poll, along with comments for each team from anonymous coaches:

1California45 (1)
2UCLA37 (1)
3Oregon State36 (1)
4USC30 (1)
5Washington26
6 (Tie)Arizona State24
6 (Tie)Washington State24
8Colorado23
9Oregon20
10Stanford17
11Utah16
12Arizona14

California

- That Defense is ridiculous

- California has the #1 defense, but their offense is still a bit behind. I have yet to see Migi compete in the scrimmages but I'd assume that this squad will be good enough for the #2 spot.

UCLA

- I trust the coaching more than the talent. Of course, with it being a new sim the best coaches are unknown.

Oregon State

- This team was placed in one of the highest buckets, and thus has one of the top offenses and defenses in the nation. In the inaugural season, I'm expecting them to compete.

- Built to win now, after this season will entirely depend on recruiting

USC

- Overall best talent...coaching remains to be seen.

Washington

- Good all-around team but seems to be a cut below elite in all phases

- Wazzu > Washington ;)

Arizona State

Washington State

- I'm biased, what can I say?

- This team is the equivalent of a college-town cougar who looks like an 8 at two in the morning and is a 2 by eight in the morning.

Colorado

- Bingo is coaching this team, which means that they should be a tough team to compete against.

- See: UCLA

Oregon

Utah

- SageBow is also a great coach, one who is able to adapt and strategize his teams to the best of their ability. This will make games difficult to play when in Salt Lake City.

- Easily the worst P5 team.

Arizona

Side note: Pac 12, we only had four submissions. We can do better for Week 1.

A) hate/love that Sage, Tuscan, Dacder, and Jacobs are in this conference.

B) I think USC's scrimmage dominance will continue into the season

C) The middle is way packed, with 2-4 teams at the top pretty out front

D) Utah is by far the worst P5 team.
