SimFBA Interface Version 0.1.1

- Resolved an issue where a user unassigned to a team could view Coach navigation options.

- Resolved an issue where a user can view their player's Overall value instead of a letter grade when viewing the Player Modal.

- Resolved an issue where a certain number would appear on the Player modal. It has been replaced with the player's assigned team.

- Assigned web developer with allotted time to enjoy Sunday brunch and perhaps a hike if the weather allows it.

SimFBA Interface Version 0.1.2

- Resolved an issue where the Zone Coverage value wasn't displayed when looking at player cards

- The Kick Power icon now appears when looking at player cards

- Resolved a bug where admins were not able to reject duplicate team requests (y'all, if you clicked the request team button, the request went through )

SimFBA Interface Version 0.1.3

- Implemented temporary fix regarding security protocol. User should be able to use interface as normal without logout/login process. Will look into long term fix later on before season starts.

- Fixed error where Team page did not appear. Team page should now appear, with information regarding the user's team. Not all data related to the team page at this time, but this will be resolved in a future update.

 

New Bug: Everyone is now a rival with the Washington Huskies and the Idaho Vandals

SimFBA Interface Version 0.2.1

- Completely forgot to update this so I'm starting at 0.2, since SimBBA has been added

- Added Recruiting Dashboard page for College Basketball

- Able to get recruits to DB to Interface

- Enabled options for filtering in Dashboard by Position, State, and Country

- Resolved issue where Basketball Admin could not reject team requests

SimFBA Interface Version 0.3

- Added Team Dashboard Page for College Basketball. Teams should now be able to view their own team's Recruiting Dashboard, as shown below:

- Users are able to remove players from their team board using that X button on each row. Players will be able to re-add their players to their board from the Crooting Dashboard, and will retain all points previously spent on that player in-tact.

 

- Users will be able to spend up to their weekly amount of points allowed. Validations are set to prevent the user from clicking the save button should they attempt to add more points than normal.

 

- Saving their points selections, obviously.

 

- Due to the upcoming season, a much needed update was made to the Rosters page. Users are now able to view the player modal again by clicking the name of a player from the Rosters page. This applies to both their own team and opponents teams.

NOTE: First click on modal will need to be a double click. To initiate, you have to click on the name of the player in the Name column.

Simfba Interface Version 0.4

- Revised the Login and Sign up pages to be formatted better as with the rest of the UI

- Placed error handling to visually display to the user when login is failing

- Logging in successfully should return the user to the Landing page.

 

- SimFBA Roster Page: Added table sorting. Sort with the following columns: Name (by Last Name), Archetype, Position, Overall, Year, and Potential

- Note: Give the sorting a few clicks. Still trying to work out the ascending/descending logic. May look into another library to potentially handle table data & sorting.

 

 

 

With this update, the dev team and I will be working behind the scenes for a while to work on the rest of the SimFBA implementation + a surprise. This will take the rest of the season. Please be patient. If you find any additional bugs, please use the feedback thread and DM me on Discord.

Simfba Interface version 0.9

 

- Fixed an issue where new Coaches usernames weren't properly registered in coaching table and in news log.

- Added newslog feature where 4- & 5-star recruits receiving a scholarship will be presented in the news log.

 

 

Plans for Simfba Interface version 1.0

- Statistics Page will be implemented. Planning to provide this feature by Week 5 of the 2022 season. Users will be able to view player and team statistics for this season and presumably career stats. 2021 Stats are not available at this time.

- Once the stats page is up, I will be on support mode for the interface for the rest of the season. No new features will be planned for the rest of the season other than looking for feedback and bugs.

Users are now able to select the season they wish to view by a new dropdown on the stats page:

 

The default will always be the current season. To select a season, click on the dropdown and select the season you wish to view.

Once you select a season, give it a few seconds. The stats will be returned to you onto the page.

 

There is small bug where the player line will show the player's current year. I will need to fix this in a future patch. Just not right now.

For my final update of 2022, I've revamped the roster page.

 

 

Users can now click on an info button to view the player's player card, and I've also added some team info on the side column.

 

I'm also changing the mobile experience a bit to incorporate the info button, though I will likely need to change the mobile view of the modal in 2023.

Completed all recruiting changes planned for Beta Testing Cycle. News page is now fixed as well. Y'all been colluding in Basketball

A number of changes:

1. Refactored some of the code on the landing page for matches
   
2. Added Recruiting Class Modal
   
3. Added NFL Landing Page for those with an NFL Team
   
4. Future-proofed the need to upload more images for college basketball and football teams
   

For #1) Once NFL and NBA are on the interface I'm going to begin work on making the web app lighter and faster. For the landing page, some of the code written was bloated. The recent deployment removed some of the redundant code.

 

For #2) College Football and College Basketball users can now view the recruiting classes for each team from the interface. Access, go to the respective Recruiting Overview page for either page and click the Recruiting Class Button

 

Users will be able to view their recruiting class here, along with other team's recruiting class. Now everyone can brag to their friends on how good their class is.

 

For #3, the NFL Landing page is now available. None of the buttons on the landing page work, but will give you an idea of what you as a user will be able to do.

Also, I now understand the issue that some users have with their logo being behind these buttons. I'll figure out something for all teams in the meantime.

 

For #4), I had time one evening and decided to future-proof college basketball expansion by adding every D-1 team's logo to the interface. They won't be viewable until the teams are actually added to the college basketball sim. This also includes the University of Guam. You're welcome, basketball fans.

• Users can now toggle the Free Agency page to only view players they have made offers on
• Mobile Experience Added to FA
• Mobile Experience added to Trade Block (Updating Trade preferences, proposing trades, and viewing the Trade Inbox are disabled in mobile view).

• NFL Depth Chart Page: Users are now notified if they have a player no longer on their roster listed on their depth chart.

- Schedule page modifications for both CFB, CBB, and soon-to-be NFL and NBA

- Users can now view past year schedules in both CFB and CBB. To view CBB matches, you will need to use both the seasons dropdown and week dropdown.

- Match results for CBB now return the players who participate in matches, rather than the roster at that current time.

• Fixed an issue on the DC page where player data and DC data did not sync completely. This is fixed for NFL.
• CFB Stats Page now allows users to search by season and by week. To make a search, select the search option you want to use, followed by the season, and week (if selecting week). This will return data, just give it a moment because we have a lot of data.

Patch Update to interface:

• Practice Squad players now show their owning team in the Previous Team column.
• Worked on some backend changes for the newslog for a potential feature on the landing page.
• Teams that make an offer on a player from their own practice squad will automatically be picked up and placed in the main roster.
• Logos now show in the Leading Teams column of the recruit row for CFB Recruiting

This change was made due to the event that it caused an issue. Please continue to use the interface feedback thread for any issues found or for any requests. New requests not make it into this regular season but may be implemented in the next offseason.

• Fixed bug where bringing up a player on a practice squad through the NFL Roster Page would send them to the void. The modal will now redirect & recommend the player that they navigate to the Free Agency Page.

SimCBB Schedule Page has been updated. Each match card has been condensed to save up on space, especially with the number of games this season.

To look up data:

• Select a league
• Select a season
• Select a week
• Toggle out any matches of the week (A or B) that you don't want to view.

 

 

NBA and ISL schedule will be available after the draft.

• Scholarships offered to high ranked recruits in SimCBB will no longer generate a news log
• The Recruit Modal on the Team's Recruiting Board has been updated to show all teams that have placed a scholarship on the recruit, or at least a point after a sync has occurred
• Reformatted the card to make use of space
• Converted Defense column into the two new defense columns on the Team Recruiting Board
