  2. and you think you can tell that now when you gameplan?
  3. i would love to be able to have a formation (example only: I formation) and have a play that is 100% run so I can play a rookie/frosh QB who only turns around and hands the ball off and young WR or WR with really good blocking attributes on the edge; then have the exact same formation the next play but it is my "passing" personnel and 100% pass. Defense would see I formation and not know (like in RL) what play is coming next
  4. It would make more sense that you can change a player position to one similar or near it positionally with penalities of course. Offensive line to DL, OT to maybe TE. LB to S, RB to WR, etc. The year in school might be able to affect the transition - incoming freshman who you red shirt might adapt to the newer position more effectively than changing a (JR) to a new position that isn't closely aligned to current position. This change could also have some sort of effect on morale or work ethic too
  5. One way to do this from a more mathematical perspective and still keep the affinity would be to create a cost for recruiting players farther away from your school, thus allowing a school to be more efficient with their points just due to geography and get a bump with the affinity. RL thought process is that traveling from Boston to LA to recruit a player- whether assistant coach or head coach - is more expensive (flights, food, lodging, time, etc) than recruiting closer to home. The affinity would ne a bias towards or away from a type of school. Thoughts?
