    6. How much time can you devote to the community? The more people that are active, the more fun the sim as a whole is with all of the fun interactions that can take place between users, whether it be in the Shoutbox, or through various forms of media.         I am a full time adult student but I can devote a few minutes every day and 4-8 hours per week is realistic.

  1. Affinity idea: Elite Recruiter

Sometimes, a school will hire an assistant coach or position coach who is just an exceptional recruiter, He either comes in with a cadre of recruits, has a shoe executive who owes him favors, was a guardian to an elite high school talent, is just a little better at sliding cash beneath a table, whatever it is, it happens. This would be a bonus affinity that would be granted to a randomized few teams each year, that would last for 1 or 2 seasons, then the recruiter moves on (likely is hired away to another school or becomes a head coach in his own right).

  2. The value of the modifier in the Recruiting Efficiency Score is between -20% and 20%, meaning that the worst possible fit for a recruit is at 80% strength compared to the median school. It also means that the best possible situation has effectively 120% strength in recruiting. When pitting the best fit against the worst fit, it would be a 50% advantage for the best fit school.

So you use the term "median" for a team with 100 base score, then immediately only give that base score to Tulsa. IDK, they don't seem "median" to me. Feels like that throws off the whole +20/-20 scheme. Median looks a bit more like 90 to me. So +30/-10 feels a bit more accurate. I don't think this is a problem from a gameplay standpoint, and is actually probably more realistic than an even split anyway. I think the difference in the eyes of recruits between a 2-10 team and a 4-8 team is nowhere near the difference between a 8-4 and 10-2.

Edit: And you noticed this in your quartile numbers later too, so I'm guessing you didn't mean to call 100 the median school but rather the median score. Or I'm just dumb. IDK.

  5. I completely agree with your assessment. It hurt to not be able to land a single ILB. I plan to shift an OT to OG, why I recruited extra depth there. It's all I can do this year, there was nothing worthwhile at OG to go for. Both will be priority next cycle, along with QB and OLB. The only place I disagree with you is CB, I feel it was a pretty solid win in recruiting to get three good potential 3 stars. I like the odds of at least one of them turning into a dangerous starter.

  6. SEC

    Western Division: Alabama (10-1, 7-0)

    Eastern Division: Kentucky (11-0, 8-0)

The loser of this game is still almost certainly a playoff team. Only a couple scenarios I can see where Bama loses this and falls far enough to miss the playoff, and UK is in no matter what, just like Florida State and Tulsa. So the SEC is virtually guaranteed 2 playoff teams apart from nearly all the top teams losing their conference championship games..
