  3. In hindsight, I'm kinda glad I wasn't there to have to make that pick. Loe I had as a top 5 talent, Ryan Johnson just outside the top 5, and I was desperately hoping Amara Rodriguez would fall to us at our pick. Having all 3 on the board would have had me sweating bullets. But I'm ecstatic with who we got.
  4. Affinity idea: Elite Recruiter Sometimes, a school will hire an assistant coach or position coach who is just an exceptional recruiter, He either comes in with a cadre of recruits, has a shoe executive who owes him favors, was a guardian to an elite high school talent, is just a little better at sliding cash beneath a table, whatever it is, it happens. This would be a bonus affinity that would be granted to a randomized few teams each year, that would last for 1 or 2 seasons, then the recruiter moves on (likely is hired away to another school or becomes a head coach in his own right).
  5. So you use the term "median" for a team with 100 base score, then immediately only give that base score to Tulsa. IDK, they don't seem "median" to me. Feels like that throws off the whole +20/-20 scheme. Median looks a bit more like 90 to me. So +30/-10 feels a bit more accurate. I don't think this is a problem from a gameplay standpoint, and is actually probably more realistic than an even split anyway. I think the difference in the eyes of recruits between a 2-10 team and a 4-8 team is nowhere near the difference between a 8-4 and 10-2. Edit: And you noticed this in your quartile numbers later too, so I'm guessing you didn't mean to call 100 the median school but rather the median score. Or I'm just dumb. IDK.
  6. We still haven't picked a pass rusher, and haven't locked in to 3-4 or 4-3, so our draft is wide open. But if Ryan Johnson or Matt Howard are on the board when we pick, they won't be after.
  7. Cardinals WILL NOT MATCH the offer on WR Mathew Madden. Good luck with him, Minnesota.
  8. 30058 WR Franco Milton has accepted the Arizona Cardinals' 5 year, $20 million contract offer. 30119 WR Michael King has accepted the Arizona Cardinals' 5 year, $20 million contract offer. 35389 SS Roy Bass has accepted the Arizona Cardinals' 5 year, $40 million contract offer. 36317 CB William Morin has accepted the Arizona Cardinals' 5 year, $40 million contract offer. The Arizona Cardinals accept all 4 signings.
  9. Still looking for a Coach/GM (either one) to join the Cardinals front office, we intend to win right away so you can build your resume here!
  10. Did Jhan Peters, a power back, really run a 4.32 40?

  12. I completely agree with your assessment. It hurt to not be able to land a single ILB. I plan to shift an OT to OG, why I recruited extra depth there. It's all I can do this year, there was nothing worthwhile at OG to go for. Both will be priority next cycle, along with QB and OLB. The only place I disagree with you is CB, I feel it was a pretty solid win in recruiting to get three good potential 3 stars. I like the odds of at least one of them turning into a dangerous starter.
  13. 2985 combined yards from scrimmage. 29 Touchdowns. National Champion. Heisman. Respect.
  14. Yes. Forum based. Round 1 will be 3 days. Round 2 will be a week. Round 3 is where it'll really slow down.
  15. I can already see this being broken otherwise. Shotgun a full roster while others chase the pro bowl QB.
  16. I really like the way you broke everything down here, I'd love to see a similar breakdown for my class if you have time, once it's finished.
  17. Arizona cardinals will be great unless a super fan wants them
  18. The four teams remaining are the same as if we had a 4 team playoff: Florida State, Kentucky, Tulsa, Wisconsin
  19. Virginia, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi State all would like a word with you.
  20. Great. Purdue…they beat us in the last scrimmage before the season started. Not that I expected easy CFP games, but that’s one team I hoped to avoid.
